SHOW NOTES:

Hey everyone, this is your host Amy Wang-Hiller. Today, on thrive x strive musician podcast, we will only have a short announcement and a sneak peek for the month of August.

If you are new to my show, Hi, and welcome! My name is Amy, a professional violinist, teacher, and a doctoral student at UNT . It's my passion to help musicians creating a healthy lifestyle with mental clarity & vibrancy. This is a weekly podcast where I share my personal journey and dive into the personal development with other talented musicians. My goal is to provide musicians healthy tools and wisdoms to help you thrive in both personal and professional life.

As we were speaking about mental health, recovery from burnout, and self-compassion related topics in the last couple episodes, I decided to take this extra week of Friday in July to give all of us an opportunity to catch up. If you haven't listen to some of the interviews I had with those amazing guests or my own solo episodes, this week is the time to do that. And it is also an opportunity for me to take care my own personal needs and optimize my mental health, so that I can bring you more quality content in the future months.

This means we will be back next Friday with Dr. Renee-Paule Gauthier talking about mindful practice in both music-making and personal life; How to deal with performance anxiety; How to direct our self-talk to nurture our mind for optimal performance, and so much more! For our future solo episodes, I will dive deeper into the topics around healthy boundaries, self-compassion, the importance of our sleep, and how to get into the creative flow when you are feeling down, from my unique experience and perspective. And If you have a specific topic that you would love me cover, you can email me at thrivexstrive@gmail.com or send me a direct message on instagram @amywangviolin or @thrive_x_strive.  If you like this podcast, or feel connect with what I have been sharing on this show, please subscribe! It will really help this podcast if you subscribe on any  platform you are listening to, download the episode, and leave a review on iTunes. I appreciate every one of you!

Talk to you all next Friday with our Guest, Mind Over Finger Podcast Host - Dr.Renee-Paule Gauthier!

If you like the short clips I shared from our next week interview, don't forget to tune in next week!

Have a great weekend!
